šŗšæš©šŖScientists from Uzbekistan and Germany are taking cooperation in the field of soil science to a new level.
š“ An international scientific meeting was held at the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemical Research under the Ministry of Agriculture with the participation of Professor, Dr. Georg Guggenberger , Director of the Institute of Soil Science of the University of Hannover, Federal Republic of Germany.
š¢ The meeting was attended by the advisor to the director of the institute on science and scientific activities, Professor Ruzmetov Maqsud Ismailovich , and responsible heads of the institute.
ā”ļøDuring the meeting, issues of global climate change, prevention of land degradation, preservation of soil fertility, protection of land resources, and development of joint scientific research were discussed. Special attention was also paid to the prospects of increasing the potential of young scientists and implementing advanced foreign experiences.
š¬ International recognition is the result of ongoing reforms!
šµ Professor Georg Guggenberger recalled a meeting he had with the director of the institute, Professor Shukhrat Bobomurodov, three years ago , and noted that the ideas expressed at that time about fundamental changes in the field of soil science are now being reflected in practice. He highly appreciated the attention paid in our country to soil protection, strengthening its legal framework, and developing the sector.
š¤At the end of the meeting, the parties reached an agreement to strengthen international scientific cooperation, implement promising joint projects, and sign a memorandum of cooperation.
