🇨🇳Scientists from Uzbekistan also participated in the International Conference on Saline Land Agriculture (ICSA 2026), which was held in Dunyin, Shandong Province, China, from October 20 to 22, 2026.
🟢At the conference, representatives of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemical Research, Zafar Bahodirov, Aliyor Qarayev, and Hikmatullo Boriyev, director of the institute's Kashkadarya branch, shared their experiences on soil salinity management, scientific research, and modern technologies.
🔵 As part of the conference, the delegation visited the National Center for Technological Innovations for Saline and Alkaline Agricultural Lands and got acquainted with new technologies used in field conditions, the processes of their testing and introduction into production.
During the visit, special attention was paid to the integration of scientific research with practical results, the effective use of saline lands, and the implementation of innovative solutions in agriculture.
💬 According to Zafar Bahodirov: "Studying international experience and observing the results of new technologies in field conditions is important in developing scientific solutions suitable for the soil and climatic conditions of our country."
🤝In addition, prospects for joint research and scientific cooperation were discussed at meetings with representatives of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) and other foreign scientific organizations.
📌 This visit will serve to expand opportunities in Uzbekistan to study best practices, maintain soil fertility, and apply technologies aimed at the effective use of saline lands.
