📍The "International Conference on Saline Land Agriculture" (ICSA 2026) was held in Dongying, China, from October 20 to 22, 2026.
🔴The international conference was attended by representatives of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemical Research, Zafar Bakhodirov, Aliyor Karayev, and Hikmatullo Boriyev, director of the Kashkadarya branch of the institute.
✅Zafar Bakhodirov gave a lecture on the topic "Integrated management of soil salinity in irrigated agriculture in Uzbekistan." He covered the problems of soil salinity, the results of scientific research, and modern monitoring technologies.
🤝 As part of the conference, meetings were held with representatives of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) and other foreign scientific organizations, and prospects for joint research and exchange of experience were discussed.
📌The delegation also participated in an international roundtable discussion and events to familiarize themselves with China's advanced scientific and technological developments in the integrated use of saline lands.
