🔴Work is underway in the Fergana region to improve the ecological condition of agricultural lands, preserve soil fertility, and reduce the negative impact of polyethylene film residues on the environment.

➡️In accordance with the approved work plan of the working group formed by the Ministry, educational and practical activities are being carried out in the regions to study field areas, collect polyethylene film residues in a timely manner, and dispose of them in accordance with the established procedure.

🟡This year, the "Xinjan" method, i.e., the technology of planting seeds under polyethylene film, was used on 23 thousand hectares of land in the Fergana region. In this regard, special attention is being paid to the complete collection of film residues in these areas and to preventing their negative impact on soil fertility and the ecological situation.

➡️Members of the working group are providing farm representatives with appropriate explanations and practical recommendations on not leaving polyethylene film residues in the fields, collecting them in the prescribed manner, and disposing of them.

✅ For your information: Responsible leaders and employees of the ministry, scientists from the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemical Research, as well as representatives of relevant organizations and departments in the regions are actively participating in these events.

❗️ A clean field is the key to healthy soil, ecological sustainability, and a bountiful harvest!
